Malinowski Clan

Dedicated to the evolution of the Antoni Malinowski family

Anton Malinowski

There is an interesting  web site that is new to me http://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/.  They have obtained copies of old newspapers which can be searched by just entering a name or topic.  One of them happens to be the Aberdeen Herald (Aberdeen, WA) papers run from the 1850’s to 1920’s.  I found a number of interesting little notes on Anton and Mary.  I have updated their biographies with the information.  Their is also quite a bit on Beth & her family.  I haven’t updated hers yet so I  posted that information.

I followed up this research with a trip to the GH County court house.  I found that I was misinterpreting some of the newspaper clippings.  I have now updated the Antoni Malinowski Bio (see biographies tab) and have a much more detailed explanation of the very difficult time the family faced.  It is no wonder that Emily Airhart remembers being told that Grampa was a little bit distrustful of people and wouldn’t leave the ranch.

This first is 1908 starting grain crops up Wishkah.  It’s interesting to note that the Polish community is recognized. (These can be a little hard to read, I transcribed them in his biography)
