Museum & Tractor

I just got off a meeting with the City of Aberdeen Museum Board. Reestablishing the museum is moving very slowly forward. But what I want to tell you all is that the Wehr grader which was used by the City Of Aberdeen, then Malinowski Ranch & finally as a symbol at the Davidson Brothers site — finally donated back tot he City in memory of Bob Davidson — will be saved in the collection an available for future display.

However, there does not appear to be interest in the iron tired Fordson tractor from the Malinowski ranch. The tractor is at a site right next to the old museum. The City wants to wreck the site. Things may move fairly rapidly – don’t quite know yet. The question for you all is — Is there any interest by any family member in obtaining this tractor. It doesn’t run., so I’m talking lawn art. If there is any interest I need a call ASAP so we can discuss the situation. 360-464-4328 or email jacnacsami@gmail.com.

I wonder if the Wishkah school would be interested in a display out front?

Just an update. We have two folks interested in the tractor. Meanwhile the Aberdeen Museum has a number of steps to go through before they make a final release (or they now say it’s possible it wouldn’t be released) So one way or another it will have a home!!

    I’ll keep you posted

The City of Aberdeen is still deciding for sure if they will let the tractor go — I believe it’s a yes but there are steps. In the meantime two family members initially expressed interest — but the final “winner” is Roger White (as in Anton/Sophia Davidson/Doris White. He lives near Summit Lake (on the way to Aberdeen) so if things settle the way I think they will, I’m sure he will allow tractor visitation. ;0)
