The story I remember is Antoni bought OK Logging. Ther was a cold deck they dropped in the river but he didn’t get to town for months. When he did the mills had received only a few of his logs & he lost a lot of money. The implication was that the logs were stolen.
Today I was reading old Aberdeen Herald newspapers. Farmers along the river were complaining loudly that the Splash dams were dumping logs on their fields & washing away their land as they rushed by.
